LEESBURG, Va. (CBSDC) - A school bus driver has been issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way before an accident that injured seven last Friday in Leesburg.
The bus was carrying 41 high school students when the driver pulled out onto Rt. 15 from Masons Lane directly into the path of a northbound Ford F-250 around 5:15 p.m.
The bus driver, another adult and five juveniles had to be taken to local hospitals for treatment. They have all since been treated and released.
The remaining students were loaded onto a second bus. No one was injured in the pick-up truck.
