WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — An 88-year-old District of Columbia man with dementia is missing.

John Matthews was last seen in the 1400 block of Oglethorpe Street, NW around 10:15 p.m. Monday, D.C. Police say. He was wearing brown pants with a blue sweater and a maroon vest at the time.

Matthews is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 155 pounds with brown eyes, gray hair and a medium complexion.

Police say the man may be in need of his medication.
