LANDOVER, Md. (CBSDC) – In an intriguing move, the Washington Redskins will sit Brandon Banks for Sunday’s tilt against the Baltimore Ravens.
The undersized third-year return specialist has struggled to gain traction this year, averaging a modest 24 yards per return on kickoffs and 6.8 yards per punt return. Poor decision making has also plagued his 2012 campaign.
Niles Paul is expected to handle kickoffs while Richard Crawford will be tasked with punt-return duties, per Grant Paulsen of 106.7 THe Fan.
The Baltimore Ravens will be without linebacker Terrell Suggs as he continues to nurse a right biceps injury.
