LEESBURG, Va. (CBSDC) - A school bus has been evacuated in Loudoun County following a crash that left some children with minor injuries.
The Loudoun County Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident along Route-15 and Mason Lane in Leesburg around 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
The bus was carrying 30-35 kids from Heritage High School to Manassas High School for a swim meet at the time of the accident; they were all evacuated.
Seven people – two adults and five juveniles – were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The age of the victims is unclear at this time.
