CHURCHTON, Md. (CBSDC) - A man has been arrested in Anne Arundel County in connection with the distribution and possession of child pornography.

32-year-old Drew Ellis Lindsley, of the 1000 block of South Creek View Court in Churchton, is facing thirty years in prison after being arrested Thursday on two counts of distributing and two counts of possessing child pornography.

The Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an investigation over the summer after locating a computer that was sharing what was believed to be child pornography on a file sharing network.

An investigator was able to trace the computer activity back to Lindsley’s Churchton home.

State police conducted a search of his home and located digital evidence confirming Lindsley had been distributing and was in possession of child pornography. He was arrested and later released on a $75,000 bond, and is awaiting a future court date.
