Nominations For 2013 Grammy Awards Sets One Artist Up For Fun.

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – Nominations for the 2013 Grammy Awards were announced in Nashville Wednesday night, with the newcomer band Fun. leading the pack with three nods.

The 2013 Grammy Awards nominees were announced during the televised “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!” held in Nashville and hosted by LL Cool J and hometown hero Taylor Swift.

Only albums released between Oct. 1, 2011 and Sept. 30, 2012 were eligible to be nominated for the 55th edition of the Grammy Awards.

For instance, Taylor Swift’s single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was eligible because it was released in August of this year, but the album it was released on, “Red”, is ineligible because it was released two months later in October.
