Gaithersburg Hotel Evacuated for Gas Main Leak

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (CBSDC) – More than a dozen people had to be evacuated from a hotel in Gaithersburg on Monday, temporarily shutting down some heavily-traveled surrounding roads in the process.

Firefighters responded to the Marriott Springhill Suites on Washington Boulevard in Gaithersburg just before 5 p.m. for a report of a gas main leak. Officials say about 12 people had to be evacuated.

No one was hurt.
