Fairfax, VA (CBSDC) – The Fairfax County Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred Friday, November 30.
The incident involved a hit and run crash that seriously injured a 16-year-old boy.
Police have determined that the boy was standing in the crosswalk at the intersection of Telegraph Rd and Broadmoor Street when the hit and run occurred.
Witnesses have told police that the minivan never stopped after striking the boy.
The boy was taken to a local hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
Police are encouraging the driver of the vehicle to come forward.
They are also asking the public for assistance.
