HERNDON, Va. (CBSDC) - Police are looking for two men who robbed a 7-Eleven in Herndon Thursday night.
Herndon police say two men robbed the 7-Eleven located at 1115 Crestview Dr. in the Town of Herndon around 11:19 p.m.
The first suspect pointed a handgun at the store’s employees attempting to get them to open the cash register. He fired a shot while the employees were trying to get into the register.
The second suspect acted as the lookout at the front door. Once the employees handed over an undisclosed amount of money both suspects fled the store.
Police described the first suspect as a light-skinned male, between 5’10” and 6’0” tall, 25-30 years of age, medium build and wearing a gray hoodie and jeans, with bulky white gloves.
The second suspect is describe as a light-skinned male, between 5’2” and 5’5” tall, 20-25 years of age, slim build and wearing a black North Face jacket, dark jeans, black hat, and black and white sneakers.
Herndon police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects. They have released surveillance photos from the robbery. If anyone recognizes their clothing, or know something about the robbery, they are asked to contact the Herndon Police at (703) 435-6846.
