FAIRFAX, Va. (CBSDC) - Two people have been taken to a hospital following a three-car accident in Fairfax on Wednesday.

Police say a Honda Accord struck a Honda Odyssey on Jermantown Rd. around 1:40 p.m. A third, unidentified car, was involved in the accident. Two of the three vehicles were totaled.

CPR was performed on one of the victims at the scene.

At least two others were taken to a hospital.

The status of the victims has not yet been made available.

Traffic was temporarily blocked at Jermantown Rd. and Church St. near the scene of the accident but is now open in both directions.
