DES MOINES, Iowa (CBSDC/AP) —The winning numbers for a record $550 million Powerball jackpot were drawn Wednesday night.

The winning numbers are 05, 23, 16, 22, 29 and the Powerball is 6.

Powerball officials said Wednesday afternoon they believed there was a 75 percent chance the winning combination of numbers would be drawn after brisk sales kept driving up the payout.

The jackpot was boosted to $500 million on Tuesday and raised again Wednesday morning to $550 million.

A winner taking the cash option would get $360.2 million before taxes.

The numbers are an estimate and could be increased again as the drawing nears.
