WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Police have made an arrest in the murder of an H Street deli owner killed during a robbery in June.
Steven Vondell Williams, 46 of NW, was arrested and charged Wednesday with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 64-year-old Hae Soon Lim of Rockville on June 14.
Police discovered the body of Lim when a citizen notified an officer of an unconscious person in the 700 block of H Street NE, around 6:15 a.m. the day of the shooting.
The officer found Lim inside her business – Grace Deli – suffering from a gunshot wound.
Shortly after emergency responders arrived she was pronounced dead on the scene.

A man has been for the murder of Hae Soon Lim, the owner of Grace Deli on H Street, shot in her store back in June.
Lim – better known to the community as June – was a well-respected member of the community. The Asian Pacific American Bar Association set up a memorial fundraiser online, asking the community for donations to show how much they cared for June.
The memorial fund raised $3,595 in a matter of days.
