DUNDALK, Md. — An 8-year-old boy was hit by a car while walking to school in Dundalk.
Officials say the crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. Monday near the Sandy Plains Elementary School. The boy, a second grader at the school, was hit in the 8300 block of Kavanagh Road. The driver of the car did stop at the scene.
Baltimore County police say the boy was alert and conscious when taken to the hospital. Police are investigating.
