WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - A passenger received a head injury against a train at the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro station Wednesday evening.
Metro says a male believed to be in his 50′s and intoxicated sustained a head injury when he fell into the side of a departing Red Line train at 8 p.m.
The train was heading for Silver Spring. Metro is in the process of reviewing surveillance footage, but says the incident appears to be accidental.
The man was taken to a hospital where he is in stable condition.
There is no impact to rail service.
