ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) – The Washington Redskins held their only full practice today as the prepare for their Thanksgiving tilt against the Dallas Cowboys.
Once again, London Fletcher’s consecutive game streak is in doubt. The veteran linebacker was held out of practice with an ankle injury.
“Kind of one of those deals. You just kind of get as much treatment as possible and do everything in my power to try to put myself in a position to play,” Fletcher said. “Just getting as much treatment.”
Fletcher says he hasn’t tested his ankle. Head coach Mike Shanahan says the defensive leader will “probably” test his ankle for the first time during Thursday’s pregame.
If Fletcher doesn’t go on Thursday, his league leading 234 consecutive game streak will be snapped. The Buccaneers Ronde Barber has also played in 234 consecutive games.
Pierre Garçon (toe), Logan Paulsen (hip), Trent Williams (ankle, shoulder) & Josh Wilson (shoulder) all were limited in practice, but all likely to play on Thursday.
“I feel good, should be good to go,” Garçon said. “Didn’t get hurt further in the game.”
