LANDOVER, Md. (CBSDC) — Sunday marks what is arguably the biggest game of the Mike Shanahan era in Washington.
A win over the Philadelphia Eagles, losers of five straight, would keep the 3-6 Redskins’ postseason hopes very much alive. A would put the team in a hole too deep to dig out of — perhaps not just for this season.
Helping them will be the return of wide receiver Pierre Garcon and the regular season debut of safety Brandon Meriweather. Both are expected to start.
Here are the Redskins inactives:
QB Rex Grossman
WR Dez Briscoe
CB Richard Crawford
LB Mario Addison
G Adam Gettis
OL Maurice Hurt
DE Doug Worthington
Philadelphia Eagles inactives:
QB Michael Vick
WR Mardy Gilyard
RB Chris Polk
T/G Nate Menkin
DE Vinny Curry
DE Phillip Hunt
WR Jason Avant
