Coolidge High School Principal Turns Herself Into Police, Charged with Assault

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — The principal of a high school in Washington has turned herself into police and faces charges of simple of assault stemming from an altercation with a former staffer.

Thelma Jarrett, the principal of Coolidge High School, is accused of participating in an assault that occurred following the school’s homecoming football game on Nov. 2.

The alleged attack occurred in the school’s parking lot.

Two other staffers have already turned themselves into authorities and are facing similar accusations.
