Shooting at Wal-Mart: One Man Injured in Possible Robbery

LAUREL, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — Anne Arundel County police are investigating an early morning shooting outside of a Wal-Mart store in Laurel near Interstate 295.
The store manager has been taken to the hospital after being shot in the upper body around 4:15 a.m. Police say his injuries are non-life threatening.
An employee of the store tells WNEW he saw a man who appeared to be nervous and visibly trembling inside the store shortly before the shooting occurred.
Robbery may have been a motive in the shooting.
Police have blocked off the entrances to the shopping complex where the Wal-Mart store is located and officers could be seen searching the parking lot.
