WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – One man is battling for his life following a triple shooting at Benning Road in northeast on Tuesday.

Police say three adults were shot in the 4400 block of Benning Rd. NE around 7:28 p.m.

Investigators say the victims include two men and a female. The victims have been taken to a hospital – one male victim is suffering serious, life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for a suspect they described as a black male, approximately 6’0″ tall, with long hair and a dark, three-quarter-length jacket.

No motive has been determined.
