LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins are holding a series of blood drives and giving participants a ticket to an upcoming game in exchange for their donation.
The drive, which supports the American Red Cross, kicked off Monday with three additional drives scheduled in the immediate Washington area and one in Pennsylvania.
Blood donors will each be given one ticket to an unspecified game. Organizers say it is possible to donate as a group so the participants will receive tickets together.
Appointments are strongly recommended and can be made on the Red Cross website or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
