ASHBURN, VA (CBSDC)–The Redskins came off their bye week “refreshed” and ready to go against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in only their second NFC East game of the season.

They also had three key pieces practice, two of which, haven’t practiced in quite a while.  Pierre Garçon (toe), Jammal Brown (hip) & Brandon Meriweather (knee) were all limited in practice today.

This was Garçon’s first time working out since October 14th before the Minnesota Vikings game.

“It’s not 100 percent,”  Garçon said following practice.

He added that he’s still feeling a little bit of pain every time he moves his foot.

“He looked like he did some good things,”  Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan said.

Shanahan said they’ll find out the next few days on where he is at and hopes there isn’t a setback.

Right tackle Jammal Brown has been on the PUP with a hip issue since training camp started, right before the first game he had hip surgery, and today practiced for the first time this season.

“It felt good,”  Brown said.

Brown also said today, “was a great day for me”.

“Hopefully soon as possible,”  Brown said on when he might return.

Shanahan said Brown was actually, “better than limited” today and the Redskins have two weeks from tomorrow to activate him from the physically unable to perform list.

Safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) is the closest to return.  He’s been practicing and barring any setback, should be ready to go this weekend.  Meriweather hasn’t played in a game regular season game this season.

“I’m feeling good about it right now,”  Meriweather said on if he might play next Sunday.

Meriweather also said he spent the bye week at Redskins Park.

“I was glad he was out there today and it was a good sign,”  Shanahan said on Meriweather.

The Redskins will get back on the practice field on Wednesday as they prepare for the Eagles.
