LANDOVER, Md. (CBSDC) - Employees have been evacuated from a business in Landover after their warehouse caught fire Monday afternoon.
Prince George’s County firefighters responded to a fire at a taxi depot located at 8316 Ardwick Ardmore Rd. in Landover around 2:45 p.m.
Officials say the building was consumed by heavy fire when they arrived.
All employees were evacuated.
One employee – a 60-year-old man – had to be treated by a Burn Unit for severe burns to his hand and arm.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Prince George’s County Fire Deparment estimates damages from the fire will cost approximately $250,000 to repair.
