WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - A celebrity musician and activist is scheduled to deliver the keynote address during a special event at Georgetown University Monday evening.
Bono, the lead singer of U2, will deliver a keynote address on social enterprise and the power of social movements to create change.
The event will be held Monday, Nov. 12 at 6:00 p.m. on the school’s campus in the third floor Gaston Hall, located at 37th St. and O St.
The event is in partnership with the Global Social Enterprise which advocates for transformative solutions to the world’s significant challenges in health and well-being, economic growth, the environment and international development.
Other scheduled speakers include Bank of America CEO Brian T. Moynihan and Georgetown University President John J. DeGioia.
