COLUMBIA, Md. (CBS/AP) — A fast food restaurant manager is in critical condition after being shot outside a Columbia restaurant, Howard County police say.
Police say the unidentified manager was shot early Sunday after he was confronted by two unknown men. Police say the men shot the manager several times and he was able to make it back inside the restaurant, where two other employees called for help.
The manager was flown by helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police say investigators do not have a motive for the shooting and anyone with information is asked to call police.
