WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - A wintry mix is in the forecast, and it could make for a difficult drive home Wednesday evening.
Temperatures will likely drop into the mid-30’s, and with an 80 percent chance of precipitation into the evening, WUSA9 Meteorologist Howard Bernstein says there’s a good chance of a snowy, slushy mix.
Bernstein says don’t expect a lot of accumulation — only about an inch is expected.
Expect plenty of delays on the Beltway and highways during the drive home.
