WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - There are great deals to be had for consumers in light of Election Day and still plenty of time to take advantage of them.

Many retailers, restaurants and other companies are offering deals, bargains and free goods on Tuesday — with some offered on Election Day only, and others extending into the week.

International Business Times released a list of national deals, which we’ve sorted through to suit Washington, and we’ve added some deals that are exclusive just to the D.C. area.

Check out the following deals to cash in on your benefits of being an American voter:

Boston Market

At Boston Market customers can cast votes for their favorite Market Bowl – between chicken or turkey – with the winner being announced on Thursday, Nov. 7. Boston Market is offering free Market Bowls with the purchase of a bowl and a drink.

California Tortilla

Customers can get a free taco by wearing an “I Voted” sticker into the restaurant on Election Day.

JetBlue

JetBlue is offering an Election Promotion campaign for voters whose candidates lose, by offering 1,006 travel certificates to redeem on a round-trip base fare to any of JetBlue’s Caribbean or Mexico destinations from a drawing pool.

Macy’s

Macy’s is offering an Election Day sale of 15 to 20 percent off items, and by using the coupon code “ELECT” for online purchases you can earn 20 percent off.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden is giving away a free Dolcini with the purchase of an entrée to customers wearing an “I Voted” sticker.

On The Border

On The Border is giving away free sopapillas through a coupon from its Facebook page.

Pinkberry

Pinkberry is offering free small yogurts with toppings to ten winners through a Twitter contest. Winners will be drawn from social media voters who use the hashtag #pinkthevote to post photos and vote for their favorite flavors.

Shake Shack

Shake Shack offers details on its Facebook page for a “Shack The Vote” contest, in which customers fill out a pledge to vote card to receive a coupon for a free cup or cone of custard. The only D.C. location is at Dupont Circle.

Starbucks

Starbucks is giving away colorful red, white and blue “INDIVISABLE” wristbands on Election Day to promote creating jobs in the U.S.

Uber

The Uber car service is giving customers across the country a chance to ride-in-style to vote, with a free ride (of up to $20.12) to a national polling place. Amounts exceeding the limit will be charged.

Zipcar

Zipcar is cutting rates by 50% nationwide for customers who make an hourly reservation on Election Day between the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Exclusive Deals to Our Area:

Mellow Mushroom – Adams Morgan

Head to Mellow Mushroom in Adams Morgan for an election night celebration starting at 8:00 p.m. If you check in along with three friends on Facebook you’ll get a free pitcher of select swing state beer brewed in Colorado, Ohio or Virginia.

Alexandria Union Cab

Alexandria Union Cab is offering free rides within the City of Alexandria to any Alexandria voting center between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Call them at (703) 683-1200.

Buca di Beppo

Buy any individual lunch item at Buca di Beppo and get one of equal or lesser value free with this coupon.

Also, for yoga enthusiasts, many yoga studios all over Virginia, Maryland and D.C. are offering free yoga classes on Election Day.
