LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — Five men have pleaded guilty in Virginia to child pornography charges.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Heaphy says the men entered pleas Monday in federal court in Lynchburg.
They are Manuel Antonio Mares of Miami; Jeremy Hart Yost of West Bend, Ore.; Richard Phillip Allen of Redondo Beach, Calif.; James Calvin Boyd of Pell City, Ala., and Jesse Leon Coleman of Lynchburg. The defendants range in age from 26 to 66.
They each face up to 20 years in prison, $250,000 fines and will be required to register as sex offenders.
Court testimony showed large numbers of pictures and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children were found on some of the defendants’ computers.
