WASHINGTON — D.C. police are investigating a fatal shooting of a young man in southeast Washington.

Police have identified the victim as 22-year-old Andre Jackson.

Police say officers responded early Sunday to the 300 block of Ridge Road, SE for the report of a shooting. They found Jackson non-responsive, and he was taken to the medical examiner’s office.

No arrests have been announced, and homicide detectives are continuing to investigate.
