WALDORF, Md. (CBSDC) - Still with no suspect identified in the shooting death of Teresa Bass of Waldorf, the reward being offered for information leading to an arrest has been raised to $20,000.

On Friday, Oct. 26, Jerry and Teresa Bass – husband and wife – were shot while walking their dog on a bike path behind their home near Hampshire Circle in Waldorf.

Teresa, a nurse and a mother, was killed, and Jerry was left seriously injured.

On Wednesday, the Charles County Sheriff’s office released a composite sketch of the suspect who they say is a black male with a light complexion in his early 20′s, six feet tall, with short, curly hair and a slim build.

The community has rallied together to up the reward by pledging an additional $5,000 to whoever comes forward in assisting police identify the suspect. A reward of $20,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
