Arrest Made in Rockville Stabbing of 21-Year-Old

ROCKVILLE, Md. (CBSDC) - A Gaithersburg man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 21-year-old in a Rockville shopping center a little over a week ago.

Montgomery County police arrested Hector Antonio Medina in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Monday, Oct. 22 in the Burgundy Shopping Center, located in the 800 block of Baltimore Rd. in Rockville.

When police arrived on the scene they found a 21-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds. A subsequent investigation led to identifying Medina as a suspect.

He has been charged with attempted first degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault and reckless endangerment, and is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center.
