Trump Will Give $5M To Obama’s Favorite Charity If He Releases College, Passport Records
WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — In his major announcement, Donald Trump says he will write a check for $5 million to President Barack Obama’s favorite charity if he releases his college records and passport applications.
“If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications and if he gives his passport applications I will give to a charity of his choice … a check immediately for $5 million.” Trump says he will give the check one hour after the records are released and if they are to his satisfaction.
Trump feels that Obama releasing these records will “be a great service” and “end the question and anger of many Americans.”
“Their president will become transparent” if he releases these records, Trump stated.
Rumors circulated what the major announcement would entail, including reports that Trump had in hand alleged divorce papers filed by Michelle Obama over 10 years ago.
Trump is giving the president until 5 p.m. on Oct. 31 to turn over the records.
“Frankly it’s a check I very much want to write,” Trump says. “Those charities will be very, very happy.”
Earlier this year, Trump took credit for Obama releasing his birth certificate.
