WASHINGTON — Police say they’re investigating a car crash in northeast Washington in which a 61-year-old man died.
Police say the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say Ellsworth Rucker of New Carrollton, Md., was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer westbound in the 1700 block of Kearney Street NE when he collided with the rear of a parked Smart Car.
Rucker then drove up on to the curb, struck a tree and then collided with a parked 1995 BMW.
Rucker was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
