WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – Black and white, red and blue, green and yellow. The binder craze ignited by Mitt Romney’s “binders full of women” comment from Tuesday night’s presidential debate has made its way to the comments sections of binders for sale on Amazon.

Since Tuesday, people have made the now-memorable line said by Romney during the second debate all the rage. Now, that effect has trickled down to the comments sections of binders for sale on popular sites such as Amazon.

Take a listing for an Avery durable view binder, for example. In about 36 hours since the debate, there have been 26 pages of customer reviews featuring comments related, in one form or another, to the GOP nominee’s “binders full of women” comment. Some examples include the following:

- “I feel so safe and secure in this binder! I know that my husband can reach me immediately when he needs breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or snacks 24/7, the yard mowed, shopping done, cleaning done, organizing the garage, finishing the basement, etc. He put in dividers with little envelopes on them that hold index cards so that I am completely organized when I’m not at my full-time job. I can’t imagine ever being in a binder other than this one.”

- “This binder is okay, but it would be much better with a picture of three wolves howling at the moon on it. That would bring the women-folk running.”

- “Men: Until the other night, I was having a hard time finding a place to keep all my women. Luckily, I was watching the debate and found the Avery Durable View Binder. This is especially handy for out of touch CEO’s who normally only hire men, but need to find a woman every now and then to meet a quota, etc.”

- “I was wondering what happened to my women. I searched high and low and then remembered you can find anything on Amazon.com. And so, I put in a search for binders and lo and behold…there they were…Thanks Amazon and thanks Avery…here they are safe and sound!”

The comment has become one of the more memorable lines from what was, at times, a contentious debate between Romney and the president. Vice President Joe Biden kept the comment fresh in everyone’s memory at a campaign stop Wednesday in Colorado.

“When Gov. Romney was asked a direct question about equal pay for women he started by talking about binders,” Biden said at the rally. “Binders full of qualified women as if, ‘My God, they exist!’ Binders!”

Facebook groups, Twitter accounts and memes dedicated to Romney and binders have also caused a viral stir.
