LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Students at St. John’s High School in Northwest D.C. have been evaluated by hazmat crews after a possible chemical spill.
Authorities say they responded to a hazmat alarm at the school shortly after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A suspicious odor was isolated to a computer room inside the school.
Hazmat crews remained on the scene to monitor the situation before turning over any remaining clean up to the school’s maintenance staff.
Fire officials say no students were taken to the hospital.
