LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) –Major delays on Metro’s Red Line at the Farragut North Station after a person was struck and killed.

The station remains open, but Red Line trains are single-tracking between the Judiciary Square and DuPont Circle stations. All trains are boarding on the Glenmont-bound tracks between the two stations.

The person was struck by a train headed to Shady Grove, WMATA says.
