LYNCHBURG, Va. — A Louisiana man has received a 25-year prison sentence for sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl and recording the abuse.
U.S. Attorney Timothy J. Heaphy says 57-year-old Gregory Thomas Miller of Deville, La., was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Lynchburg.
Miller had pleaded guilty in April to production of child pornography, transporting child pornography, possessing child pornography and marijuana possession.
Miller was arrested after National Park Service rangers stopped his car at a DUI checkpoint in Virginia in October 2010. According to court documents, the girl also was in the car.
The rangers found a laptop computer in the car that contained video clips of the abuse, which occurred in 2008, They also found a digital camera and marijuana.
