LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Jayson Werth’s ninth inning heroics have landed the Washington Nationals into a winner-take-all Game 5.
Gio Gonzalez will get a shot to win it for the Washington Nationals when he faces the St. Louis Cardinals in the winner-take-all Game 5.
The 27-year-old pitcher went 9-4 with a 2.38 ERA in 14 starts at home this season.

He’ll oppose Adam Wainwright who was 1-1 with a 7.27 ERA against the Nationals this season and has a 4-3 all-time record against the club.
