Amtrak, Marc Trains Restore Normal Service Following Power Outage

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Normal service has been restored to Amtrak trains between Washington and Wilmington after trains were disrupted due to a power outage Tuesday morning.

Overhead power wires came down south of Aberdeen, Md. completely suspending service for hours. Amtrak says trains are now running with minimal delays.

Passengers affected by the earlier delays may receive a full refund for their tickets.

The MARC Penn Line is also now running as scheduled.
