WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - One local robbery suspect was in a fever pitch when he held up a bank in NW on Friday.
Police say a man walked into the TD Bank at 1753 Connecticut Avenue, NW, on Oct. 5, approached a bank teller and handed over a note demanding money.
After receiving the money, the suspect – adorned in a business suit and Washington Nationals cap – walked out the front door and hailed a cab to flee the scene.
The FBI and Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the robbery in a joint effort. They say the white male was in his late 20’s to early 30’s, and stood between 5’6” and 5’10” tall, weighing between 150 and 190 pounds.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark Nats baseball cap, black sunglasses and a dark suit and tie.
He was clean shaven and wearing latex gloves on at least one hand during the incident.
