FAIRFAX, Va. (CBSDC) - The search for a missing teen has ended in Fairfax County.
A body was found in the woods at Thaiss Park in the City of Fairfax Monday. A spokesperson for the family confirmed to WNEW it is the body of 17-year-old Bryan Glenn, who went missing Oct. 1.
Glenn was last seen in the parking lot of W.T. Woodson High School around 7 a.m. on Oct. 1.
Glenn’s father, a colonel in the U.S. Army, organized a group of more than 400 volunteers to look for his son Monday morning.
The search was called off shortly after noon when police discovered a body in the woods, not far from where they discovered Glenn’s car a week earlier.
Glenn’s cause of death remains unclear.
