WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - A federal judge handed Metro a decision ordering the transit system to display a pro-Israel ad that depicts Muslim radicals as savages.

U.S. District Judge Rosemary Collyer said the advertisement must be displayed by no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, according to the Associated Press.

Metro was sued in September by the American Freedom Defense Initiative for the right to display the ads in the Metro system. It refrained from posting the ads because of upheaval in the Middle East over the now infamous “Innocence of Muslims” video, which viciously defamed Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Spokesman Dan Stessel says Metro will comply with the directive and put the ads up over the weekend.
