ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker has a lot more time on his hands not that he’s on injured reserve.
And that could be trouble for the hardcore pro wrestling fan.
On “4th & Pain,” a radio show he co-hosts devoted to all things squared circle and gridiron, Carriker got agreed to a friendly wager with his wrestling idol, Goldberg.
If Washington beats the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Goldberg must take a picture wearing Redskins attire.
For Carriker, the stakes are much higher.
If the undefeated Falcons win, he must pose for a picture in front of his locker wearing only a pair of skimpy, black, Goldberg-style wrestling trunks.
The wrestling legend will make picks on the show each week during the season. And he’s off to a strong start, having picked the St. Louis Rams to upset the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.
Before turning to pro wrestling, Goldberg played for the Falcons and had a brief stint with the Carolina Panthers.
Co-host Chuck Carroll and Carriker’s wife are also picking the games. Fans can submit their picks online as well.
“4th & Pain” airs weekdays at noon on 4thAndPain.com and Sunday at 8 a.m. on 106.7 The Fan.
