WALDORF, Md. (CBSDC) - A Charles County man has been arrested and charged with first-degree rape after allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old girl at gunpoint.

Police apprehended Rodney Pontell Sisco, 46, of Waldorf, and charged him with first-degree rape, second-degree rape, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, as well as sexual solicitation of a minor.

The abuse allegedly occurred on two separate occasions, the first of which took place when Sisco was introduced to the victim through a mutual acquaintance in early September.

Since then, the victim reported Sisco sexually assaulted her on two separate occasions, one of which occurred while a gun was pointed at her head.
