WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – D.C. police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a critical missing girl from NE who hasn’t been seen in almost a week.
Metropolitan police say Joy Taplett, 15, has been missing for six days – last seen on Friday, Sept. 21 in the 1800 block of Benning Road, NE.
Police describe Joy as a black female, standing 5’2″ in height, weighing 110 to 120 pounds with a medium complexion and brown eyes and black hair.
Joy is in need of medical attention.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Taplett is asked to call Metro police at (202) 727-9099.
