Redskins Notes: Trent Williams, Pierre Garçon Uncertain for Bucs

By Sky Kerstein

ASHBURN, VA (CBSDC) — It is still unclear whether Trent Williams (knee) and Pierre Garçon (foot) will be available Sunday when the Washington Redskins travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Williams did not practice while Garçon was limited.

“I don’t have any rules specifically,” Mike Shanahan said with regard to whether a man can miss practice and still play in a game.

If Trent Williams can’t go on Sunday, Jordan Black likely will start at left tackle.

“I thought Jordan did a good job coming into the game,” Kyle Shanahan said.

Joining Williams on the sideline was Cedric Griffin (hamstring).

Brandon Meriweather (knee), Evan Royster (knee) and Brandon Banks (hip) were also limited in practice.

Kyle Shanahan also talked about his $25,000 fine he received on Tuesday for berating officials last Sunday.

“It hurt. It’s a lot of money,”  Kyle Shanahan said.  “My fault. I’ve got to live with it.”
