WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — A new bar in Dupont Circle is catering to the board game enthusiast.
Check that… the board game super enthusiast!
The Board Room on Connecticut Avenue offers a unique infusion of libations, classic fun and characters coming to life.
Hanging on the walls are portraits of famous board game characters, including the cast of Clue and the patient from Operation.
They serve as a surreal backdrop as patrons play classics such as Monopoly, Sorry, backgammon and more.

The bar offers more than 20 beers on tap as well as a wide selection of spirits and game-inspired cocktails.
The Board Room also offers classic ’80s arcade games such as Super Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong and Pac Man, each of which can be given a go at their original price of 25-50 cents per play.
