ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garçon continues to battle a ‘turf toe like’ injury in his foot.
Garçon was limited again in Thursday’s practice and it is unclear whether he will be available Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“He’s getting as much treatment as he can every day,” head coach Mike Shanahan said. “He’s working extremely hard, but it’s still sore and that’s why he’s not taking all the reps.”
A timetable for Garçon’s full return remains unclear. Shanahan admits the issue is lingering longer than he was hoping it would.
Shanahan says cornerback Josh Wilson (concussion) and safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) were also limited in practice.
