DeAngelo Hall Goes Off on Replacement Refs as Redskins Lose Key Piece
ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — DeAngelo Hall spoke with the media Monday morning following the Washington Redskins 31-28 loss to the St. Louis Rams one day earlier.
The replacement officials have been called into question, to put it mildly, and Hall wasn’t afraid to speak his mind about their performance.
“In my nine years of playing in this league, even in college and all that, I’ve never seen anything like that before in my life,” said Hall.
Hall joked that the team would be willing to help get the real officials back.
“I’m sure this locker room can pot up some cash and try to, you know, help the cause out,” Hall added.
On the injury front, defensive lineman Adam Carriker went down early yesterday. Although the team is yet to officially comment, the prognosis doesn’t look good.
“He’s going to be done,” said team captain London Fletcher. “I guess for the rest of the year.”
Meanwhile, the Redskins could have some good news coming in the injury department. Safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) says he’s going to try and to play Sunday. Meriweather, who signed this offseason as a free agent, was injured during an exhibition game and is yet to play during the regular season.
