ST. LOUIS (CBSDC) — A foot injury will keep Pierre Garçon out of the lineup Sunday, as expected.
The Washington Redskins wide receiver is among seven players declared inactive for the contest. Aldrick Robinson will start in his place.
Robinson caught four passes for 52 yards and one touchdown last week against the New Orleans Saints.
Dez Briscoe is also active for Washington.
Also of note, Rex Grossman is again inactive leaving fellow rookie Kirk Cousins as Robert Griffin III’s backup.
Defensively, DeJon Gomes will start in place of Brandon Meriweather who remains on the shelf with a knee injury. Gomes had an interception, recorded five tackles and two passes defensed in Week One.
Redskins inactives: QB Rex Grossman, S Brandon Meriweather, S Jordan Pugh, G Josh LeRibeus, G Adam Gettis, WR Pierre Garçon and NT Chris Baker.
Rams inactives: DT Michael Brockers, DT Matt Conrath, G Rokevious Watkins, RB Terrance Ganaway, QB Austin Davis and S Darian Stewart.
