ALEXANDRIA, Va. (CBSDC) – Police are looking for a man who attacked a woman while she was jogging on a path in Alexandria Wednesday morning.
Alexandria police say a woman was jogging on a path near Holmes Run Parkway around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning when she was grabbed from behind by a stranger. The woman screamed, wrangled free and managed to run away and alert the police.
Police say the victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a medium to darker skinned male, standing at approximately 5’6” tall. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket walking on the bike path towards Van Dorn Street.
